Der Standort Wyandotte produziert Polyurethane für Polyurethanschaumstoffe und Kunststoffe. Letztere umfassen auch thermoplastische Polyurethane und Kunststoffkonfektionierungen, die vor allem in der Automobilindustrie sowie bei Haushalts- und Elektrogeräten eingesetzt werden.Das Hauptverwaltungsgebäude am Standort in Wyandotte wurde vor rund 100 Jahren im georgianischen Stil erbaut und ist eine historische Sehenswürdigkeit des US-Bundesstaats Michigan. Es diente als Hauptsitz der Michigan Alkali Chemical, der späteren Wyandotte Chemical Company, die 1969 von der BASF übernommen wurde. The central administration building at the Wyandotte site was built around 100 years ago and is a historical landmark in the US federal state of Michigan. Built in Georgian style, the building served as headquarters for Michigan Alkali Chemical, later renamed Wyandotte Chemical Company, which was acquired by BASF in 1969.
