From June 21 to 23, the AIA Conference on Architecture organized by the American Institute of Architects will be taking place at New York’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. The over 20,000 participants from all over the world will be finding out on site about current trends and topics, listening to high-caliber keynote speakers and networking. Allied to the conference is the Architecture Expo, which will be exhibiting innovative product solutions for the construction sector on roughly 20,000 square meters of space distributed over two levels. BASF experts will be welcoming visitors to booth #5017 and supplying them with first-hand information on selected construction products such as the insulation material Neopor® GPS, Basotect® sound-absorbing melamine resin foam, and Walltite® US spray foam insulation. As a special highlight, Joel W. May, Director of Resilient Construction, Disaster Durable Solutions(R), will be sharing his knowledge of sustainable and resilient construction with conference participants in the Gramercy Room of the Hilton Midtown on June 21 from 7:00 to 8:00 am. He will report on how BASF, together with partners from architecture and other disciplines, rebuilt a residential building at Breezy Point, New York that had been destroyed by Hurricane Sandy – as a state-of-the-art model house whose special design and use of the latest materials will enable it to weather the next storm better.
We look forward to welcoming you to our booth #5017. Find out more about the AIA Conference and our experts.
