Anti-Scratch

Properties such as scratch and mar resistance are gaining in importance as the lifetime requirements for cars in their first and second – resale – life cycles have drastically increased. BASF’s Irgasurf^® SR 100 is a scratch-resistance additive for PP/TPO automotive applications such as exterior cladding, bumpers, interior instrument and door panels plus seating components to help meet OEM scratch requirements for plastic materials. It performs well in combination with light stabilizers and colorants and can be directly dosed during injection molding.
