IrgaCycle® turning fishing nets into fashion
BASF and Taiwanese textile producer, Axroma collaborated to transform discarded fishing nets into a T-shirt. Axroma recovered Polypropylene (PP) from the nets, creating recyclates that were then spun into fibers.

IrgaCycle® closing the loop on storage containers
A household goods manufacturer uses upcycled discarded plastic trays to create storage containers, utilizing BASF's IrgaCycle® to minimize thermal and mechanical stress during recycling.
- The containers are made entirely from recycled PP pellets. While not approved for food use in China yet, they meet European and U.S. food contact regulations
