Extended Ultrason® P portfolio by BASF enables compliant re-qualification of foodcontact articles affected by EU Regulation 2024/3190
For high-temperature applications in contact with food, BASF is now offering a portfolio of polyphenlysulfone (PPSU) grades which is not based on Bisphenol S (BPS) and Bisphenol A (BPA).
# RECYCLE
Chemical Recycling
Welcome to the future of recycling: Solvent-Based Recycling
BASF, Mercedes-Benz, and Poeppelmann teamed up  to kick-off the next level in physical recycling: revamping the Polyamide 6 (PA6) fraction from the shredder residue of end-of-life vehicles (ASR). Using a special solvent-based recycling process, they turn this material into high-quality plastics that can be used in new car parts.
