New Elastollan® series for Injection Molding
With the latest B CF series in our Elastollan® portfolio, BASF developed a polyester-based thermoplastics polyurethane (TPU) that combines superior cold-flexibility with easy processing!
What is new in our Elastollan® B CF series?
Due to the reduced cycle time, we can ensure a faster process which leads to higher efficiency of injection molding machines and, in return, to a higher output. As our new Elastollan® B CF series' key property is an outstanding cold flexibility, it can be used in cold conditions and on top of that the material will recover afterwards without any decline in material quality. With its broad shore hardness range, our new series ensures a great variety of applications and its soft grades - being phthalate-free - offer an excellent use in sensitive appliactions. In order to ensure a stable production process without any interruptions, the new Elastollan® B CF series provides a broad processing window enabling all your production needs. In addition, not only the quality of the material plays a role in todays production, but also the look and style can be of valued importance. This is why our new Elastollan® B CF series is suitable for optical parts due to its non-blooming material and good processing properties.
