Footwear Development Center - Italy, Villanova

Opened in 2002, the Footwear Development Center in Villanova, Italy, focuses on research and development projects for EMEA in partnership with Lemfoerde. The Center is also dedicated to customer-oriented projects such as developing soles, casual and safety shoes and boots leveraging the new Desma Injection Machine – a specialized moulding technology. The multi-section injection device allows BASF to produce tailor made soles.
