Ultramid® 8200 is an unfilled, medium viscosity Polyamid 6 injection molding homopolymer exhibiting improved toughness over conventional lower viscosity grades. It is also available in natural, heat stabilized and pigmented versions. It possesses the combination of strength, stiffness and toughness associated with nylon as well as excellent heat, chemical and abrasion resistance and improved sink mark resistance. Ultramid® 8200 is generally recommended for applications such as wiring devices, gears, connectors, filter housing, textile parts, hinges, and furniture parts.
