Ludwigshafen, Germany, 17 June 2025. As the world’s leading trade fair for plastics and rubber returns to Düsseldorf this October 8^th to 15^th, BASF is again on board – just as it has been since the very first K-Fair in 1952.

BASF Gastronomy has been using high-quality products from Werz in its company restaurants and event venues for years. Werz is now implementing the sustainable polyamide Ultramid® Ccycled® from BASF in packaging for the Horeca sector as part of a cooperation with SÜDPACK.

At CHINAPLAS 2025, BASF will present the Pro-Flex® Terra prosthetic foot, which was developed in collaboration with Össur.
 

BASF has developed the highly flowable Ultrason® D 1010 G6 U40 for demanding E&E components, optimized for energy-efficient applications in areas such as data and power transmission, smart electronics and e-mobility.
 

All BASF's European production sites for engineering plastics, polystyrene, expandable polystyrene, polyurethane, thermoplastics polyurethanes, polyamides and specialty polymers are now certified by independent third parties according to the Operation Clean Sweep ^® (OCS) standard.
