Pipe insulation for long-distance energy transport is a further area of application. Resistance to high temperatures, high durability, excellent insulating properties and simple processing methods are the features characterising Elastopor H. BASF systems are processable by using continuous and discontinuous production methods. Our range of systems are formulated for suite both rigid and flexible piping. Special targeted flame-proof Elastopor H grades are used in the production of insulated pipes for use in the chemical industry.
